Carousel (2022) Original Oil Painting by Simon Kozhin

I painted a sketch of a carousel in winter in Tsaritsyno park in one session. There was a lot of snow, and delving into the color and tonal relationships of white on a gray, frosty day is an interesting task for a painter. The carousel itself in the depths looks decorative, but the color accent with ornamental rhythms stops attention, making a semantic accent.
