Canary Fields (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Suzie Cumming

Canary Fields was painted shortly after my first visit to the island of Lanzarote. The painting is inspired by the distinctive shapes of the island and its warm and earthy colours. It seeks to capture the atmosphere, movement, and vitality of this unique environment through its loose mark making and bold colour palette. Canary Fields is a striking piece that would bring colour, character, and a sense of joy to any living space.

The painting is acrylic on 300gsm acid free paper that is approximately 16.5" x 11.5" or 42cms x 30cms (approx A3 in size). It is a fresh and bright artwork that would work well framed in a simple box frame either hung on its own or could be hung alongside others from the collection. The paper is signed on the back and has a protective barrier applied to it to help protect it from UV rays and humidity.
