"Butterfly" (Butt Oar Fly)
"Series of Pun Paintings".

While in the process of sketching out this painting I found it hard to incorporate all of the individual images onto one canvas. Being that the scale of each image varies in size, I gave each of them their own environment. In choosing my background colors for each of the paintings I decided that it would be fitting to use some of the bright and beautiful colors from the butterfly world which are as follows: "Butt" - Red Glider "Oar" - Blue Morpho "Fly" - Monarch (in this particular painting I have the fly standing in a representation of tomato soup. While looking at the soup and the creme fresh through the transparent wing you may notice the similarity in color to the Monarch butterfly.)
