Burning Core (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Davide Gnani

'Burning core' explores the origin point of intense emotion. The
artwork is characterized by a dramatic contrast between a dark,
obsidian-black perimeter and a radiant, explosive center of fiery
oranges, molten reds, and brilliant yellows.
Inspired by the strength found in our deepest convictions, the
artist focuses on the concept of an inner fire that remains inextinguishable
despite external pressures. The thick, material
reliefs at the center of the canvas create a physical focal point
that seems to radiate heat. Through vigorous palette knife work,
the artist captures the moment of emotional combustion, inviting
the observer to connect with their own 'burning core'
the resilient and passionate essence that defines us all.
