Artwork description
Waves break against the rugged coastline near Barcelona, their movement softened into almost abstract forms. Water, rocks and the distant breakwater merge into an atmospheric seascape, transformed by the cyanotype process into an expanse of Prussian blue.
The artwork was created as a cyanotype, one of the earliest photographic printing processes from 1842.
Coated by hand and contact-printed using natural sunlight.
Visible brush marks and subtle tonal variations are integral to make every impression unique.
Original, handmade photographic artwork made in 2026 on 300 gsm Hahnemühle Platinum Rag in an edition of 5.
Each impression is individually hand-coated, exposed and developed; no two prints within the edition will be alike.
Signed and numbered by the artist and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
