Original artwork description
This work is made up of a group of small paintings that bring together plants, flowers, water, fragments of architecture and indoor garden spaces. It developed from sketches and photographs I collected in botanical gardens, ruins and everyday places.
I did not want the panels to form one complete scene. Instead, each one holds a different detail or atmosphere, while the repeated colours and plant forms connect them. The work is about how separate memories and observations can slowly become an imagined space of their own.
