Artwork shows a mountain lake you feel you know without being able to name it. Pink cliffs, orange larch slopes and three rowing boats at a wooden jetty, one marked 18, are repeated in the water in shifting colour. What is present stays sharp. What has become memory dissolves into colour.
The image shows enough to read as landscape, but never enough to belong to a place. It is part of the series Present Tense, saturated, high-contrast landscapes about remembered places.

Works in a living room, office, studio or lobby.
