Boat 2026 (2026) Original Watercolour by Gesa Reuter

This painting with the theme of a lonely boat is done in a special technique that was invented by one of my teachers Nicolas Lopez.
Watermarks and lines and other watercolor effects are important to this work especially and have been fascinating me for years. In these black and white paintings, water does the work together with the pigments and it is very interesting to decide when to control and when to let go.

On professional 300g watercolor paper size 40x40 cm, unframed. Frames are only shown as an example what it can look like. Let me know if you need any help with framing!
