In “Blossoming. Setting Sun”, I worked with a more intense, saturated state of color — when warmth deepens and begins to glow from within.

I built the surface through layered reds and carmine tones, letting them spread and merge into a dense, almost immersive field. The upper golden area holds the last quiet light, while the lower part carries more weight and depth.

There, I introduced red foil. It changes everything.
As the light shifts, the surface starts to shimmer, catching reflections from the space around it. The painting doesn’t stay the same — it responds to its environment, becoming brighter, darker, softer, or more intense depending on the moment.

From a distance, it reads as a bold, unified color field. Up close, the texture and reflective fragments reveal a more complex, almost tactile surface.

• Oil and red foil on canvas, 70 × 70 cm
• Sides are painted snow white for a clean, gallery-style finish
• Sealed with a satin varnish to protect color and enhance depth
• Signed on the front and back, Certificate of Authenticity included
• Sold unframed — can be styled to suit your space
• The reflective foil creates a subtle shimmering effect that is difficult to fully capture in photos
• In person, the colors appear deeper and more dimensional
