This original artwork was inspired by a young traveller from California, who was our model for the day. I have abstracted the shapes of the body & dance movements of the model to form the composition. This model brought a bold & dramatic presence. The rest is from my imagination, as well as my love of interesting plants & dynamic colour interactions.

Painted at a Friday morning Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay Australia. Finished in my studio.
