In Poland, where I live and work, the species has historically been rather local, although in recent years its population and breeding range have been expanding.

Birds are at the heart of my artistic practice. I am particularly interested in observing their anatomy, characteristic features, behaviour and plumage, and translating these details into watercolour and drawing. My work develops at the intersection of wildlife art, ornithology and close observation of nature.
