Original artwork description
Inspired by the animal sculptures of the late 18th century, this modern painting, "Inspiré du Babouin Sacré de Bugatti", reimagines the iconic animal. The artist pays homage to R. Bugatti, using oil on canvas to bring a fresh, pop art-infused perspective to a timeless subject.
Employing a skillful use of geometry, the artist creates a dynamic and transparent effect. The interplay between the subject and background gives the impression of a sculpture formed from multifaceted pieces, all harmonized by a nuanced, bluish-mauve palette.
This medium-sized oil on canvas artwork is ready to hang. The painted edges eliminate the need for a frame, offering a clean and modern presentation. Signed and dated by the artist, this animal painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
