This painting came together slowly, layer by layer. I didn’t follow a plan—I simply showed up to the canvas with a full heart and let it spill out. The soft blush tones and pale neutrals carry a quiet sense of peace, while the deeper greens and burgundy offer grounding and depth. There’s movement in the strokes, but also stillness—like something is gently lifting.

Away From Me is a quiet reminder that you don’t have to hold it all. That it’s okay to take a step back and say, “This isn’t mine to carry anymore.”
