Avant l'élan (2026) Original Charcoal Drawing by Axelle Biltgen

This evocative charcoal drawing captures the raw energy and quiet nobility of a horse in motion. Using a bold, expressive technique, the artist employs deep tonal contrasts to define the muscular structure and flowing mane of the animal. The interplay of light and shadow creates a striking three-dimensional effect, making the horse appear as if it is emerging directly from the paper.

The loose, gestural lines around the edges suggest a sense of speed and untamed spirit, while the fine detailing around the eyes and muzzle provides a moment of soulful connection. This piece is perfect for collectors looking to add a touch of dynamic elegance and classical equestrian beauty to their space.
