Original artwork description:

'Asinine' (Ass In 9)

This is one of my personal favorites. When I came up with the concept of the donkey being in the middle of a large number nine I was thrilled with how it looked visual. Then while painting it, I had the realization, epiphany, how asinine to have an ass in a 9. How did he get in there? What lead to him getting himself into such an awkward predicament? It is so asinine that there is an ass in a 9.

From my "Series of Pun Paintings". In my 'pun paintings' I deconstruct the English language by use of the pun. I was once told “it isn’t what you paint, but how you paint it.” I became bound and determined to prove that statement wrong. In my work it is about what I paint and how I paint it that makes it jump off the canvas. My Pun Paintings appeal to me personally for the humorous aspect and the witty form of intellectual play. Collectors of my work have expressed to me how much they love my work, every time they see it, it makes them smile and ready for whatever activity is next on the agenda. Also what a great conversation starter they are.
