Original artwork description:

I love to paint still life in a way which hints at an underlying story but it is left to the viewer to decide for themselves what that may be. In this composition I have included a vase which belonged to my mother. There is a hint of memories past, but the use of a palette knife to introduce delicate texture and the semi-abstract mark making lends it a contemporary feel.

This painting is sold unframed but is suitable to do so should you wish or it can be left to lean against something. I do not varnish my paintings , as I prefer the slightly chalky look of the oils as laid down. If you would like it varnished before sending, I can do so at no extra cost.

The painting is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and initialled on the front.

I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
