Anteater (2022) Original Oil Painting by Mercédès Soret

Inspired by the elegant lines of the Great Anteater sculpture by Bugatti, this original painting captures the essence of the animal form with a modern twist. The artwork reimagines a classic subject through a contemporary lens.

The artist uses oil paint to bring the anteater to life. A harmonious blend of brown, orange, and blue hues dance across a light beige background. The volume of the animal is simplified, emphasizing Bugatti's original lines and geometrical composition. The edges of this medium-sized canvas are painted, offering a clean, frameless presentation, ready to bring warmth and character to any room.

Imagine it gracing your living room, study, or even a child's bedroom, adding a touch of sophistication and whimsy. Its warm tones and intriguing subject matter make it a versatile addition to any art collection.

Signed on the front, dated and named on the back, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, this artwork is a testament to quality and artistic vision.
