I created this painting to capture the joy and energy of an autumn forest in a bold, playful way. Rather than describing every leaf in a realistic style, I wanted to express the feeling of walking through bright fall foliage when the trees seem to glow with orange, green, yellow, and deep berry tones. The result is a lively abstract forest full of movement, texture, and light.

This is an original textured acrylic painting on canvas, created with a palette knife and expressive layering techniques. The thick, sculptural surface gives the work a strong tactile presence, so the leaves and branches seem to shift as the light changes throughout the day.
