Alien Bloom

This intuitive abstract watercolour explores an imaginary world somewhere between microscopic life, vegetation and unknown organisms. Vivid pigments spread, collide and dissolve into one another, creating an evolving ecosystem of organic forms.

Large areas of colour alternate with open white spaces crossed by delicate lines, suggesting membranes, roots, veins or fragile biological structures. Deep blues and luminous greens anchor the composition, while intense pinks, reds and oranges bring unexpected bursts of energy. Translucent layers reveal traces of previous movements and accidents, as though different forms of life were appearing and disappearing beneath the surface.

The work balances spontaneity and meticulous detail, inviting the viewer to wander through an unfamiliar landscape and discover their own creatures, connections and stories within it.
