Oil on panel 60x80x1cm (23.6x31.5x0.4in) 2013
The idea for this painting came to me while I was looking at Agnese, a friend of mine, staring at her mobile phone screen. She spent so much time looking at the phone that I decided to ask her if she wanted to pose for the project. I painted her as a modern Kalì, holding in her hands as many mobile phones as she could. The picture that I used as sample for the painting is the result of a Photoshop session. I worked on a MDF panel in order to obtain a very flat and lucid paiting (as a mobile phone screen).
Agense Kalì is an oil on panel 60x80cm. I would suggest to have it framed, to prevent the panel from any possible damage.
