This face portrait shows a girl looking at the viewer with intensity. Here eyes are wide open and her expression is full of mistery. I fond the picture that I used for painting the artwork on the web and added to the project “portraits” because of this sense of estrangement that it arouses in me when I look at it.

I tried to underline the mistery that this girl symbolizes by using colourful lines to underline her look. I took gret care in painting her eyes with bright, Nature’s colours and surrounded the girl’s skin with brown and green to make her look like “the god of the woods”.
