The paper is a Montval watercolor paper 300g.

In this series, I was interested in the color and the light. The subjacent idea was to interpret foliations of the woodlands, seen from the interior, perhaps by the eyes of an animal. The forest, this wild, natural vegetal universe, plentiful, where the eye loses its reference marks and where remains nothing any more but the coloured and luminous feeling.
This painting is made exclusively with high quality acrylic Golden. I choose transparent and very saturated colors, applied with many glazes. The coloured layers give rise to others coloured tonalities, very subtle. The glazes bring an unequalled depth to painting, since the light comes from the white of subjacent paper. While thus working, my acrylic are perfectly similar to the matter of the glazes in oil-base paint.

Dans cette série, je me suis intéressée à la couleur et à la lumière. L'idée sous-jacente était d'interpréter les frondaisons d'une forêt, vue de l'intérieur, peut-être par les yeux d'un animal. La forêt, cet univers végétal sauvage, naturel, foisonnant, ou l'oeil perd ses repères et où ne reste plus que la sensation colorée et lumineuse.
Cette peinture est faite exclusivement avec des acryliques haut de gamme Golden. J'ai choisi des couleurs transparentes et très saturées, appliquées en nombreux glacis. Les couches colorées superposées donnent naissance à d'autres tons colorés, très subtils. Les glacis apportent une profondeur inégalée à la peinture, puisque la lumière provient du blanc du papier sous-jacent. En travaillant ainsi, mes acryliques sont parfaitement semblables à la matière des glacis en peinture à l'huile.
