The chaos of gesture has always been a form I've loved to work with. Abstract expressionism is, perhaps, the ultimate technique for encaustic painting.
Whenever I work with encaustic, I feel like a true alchemist. It's the combination of products, of pigments, and bringing it all together with the help of fire, blending the colors and forming textures.
In my work, the organic is a constant. I love working and playing with textures. And I like knowing that the viewer gets involved in my world.
