Our family friends with whom we celebrated Christmas with when I was a child had a very sweet Saint Bernard named Cynthia. I would always look forward to seeing her! I added her to this scene as a sentimental touch as well as a few other special details including a painting of the Swiss Alps, a little dog bone tied to one of the presents and owl tree topper as I adore owls!
