A Face, A Memory (2023) Original Acrylic Painting by Phyllis Mahon

Night scene of a woman's face in a landscape, with little fiery trees from which memories, suggested by blossoms, are rising.

Painted in artist quality acrylics on 8" square canvas board using Phthalo Blue, White, Burnt Sienna. The painting is finished with a layer of archival varnish.

Framed, floated, in a professionally made tray-frame (9.5 x 9.5 x 0.75") which I have hand - coloured to complement the artwork, with a very fine line of Burnt Sienna along the edge of the frame. (see one of the close-up photographs).

Ready to hang.
