Original artwork description
Imagine waking up to a cloud taking a bath in a quiet autumn lake.
Take a slow breath and let your eyes wander. Candy pink and sky blue trees, turquoise leaves, golden yellow light, and soft white clouds floating so close you almost want to step into the water. This painting is a small pause for your day, a place where nothing is urgent and everything feels gentle.
It was inspired by a walk where I took a wrong turn and got lost. The path grew quiet, the crowds disappeared, and then I found a lake so clear that the clouds seemed to be swimming in it. It was so beautiful that I did not want to leave. I painted this to keep that feeling: calm, wonder, and the quiet joy of finding something you never expected.
Some of life's most beautiful views wait for us after the wrong turn. This painting is a reminder of that.
Look closely and you will find a world to get lost in. Thick layers of texture paste create a soft, sculptural surface, and delicate oil pastel lines dance across the trees and grass like a quiet melody. The painting changes with the light, glowing in the morning and turning warmer and dreamier in the evening. Every time you look, you notice something new.
Hang it in your living room, bedroom, reading corner or studio, and let it become your daily moment of calm. It brings back the lightness of childhood, when a sunny day was enough to be happy.
This is an original, hand-painted artwork, and there is no other like it. No print, no copy. Just one cloud, one lake, one feeling, waiting for the wall where it belongs. Maybe yours.
