Biography
I am mr Clement, a sculptor and painter influenced by comics, pop culture, and the Old Masters. My work explores paradoxes, combining minimalism and humor. Drawing inspiration from classical art, I reinterpret its elements with a contemporary twist. My art resonates with an audience familiar with pop music, fast food, and visual entertainment. Exploring hidden meanings in classical artworks enriches my narratives and characters. I convey complex emotions through sculptures, without relying on captions. LAPIN, my main character, represents melancholy and seeks meaning. Blurring the line between contemporary and classical art, I give new contexts and meanings to original artworks.
