About Ljubica Radović

Creating art is my way of engaging deeply with the world - to feel its textures, colors, and rhythms, and to translate these experiences into visual form. Painting allows me to express emotions, observations, and reflections that cannot be captured in words alone. Each work is born from quieting the noise of everyday life, allowing intuition, experience, and careful observation to guide the process. I work in watercolor and oil on canvas. On Artfinder, I will mainly present my watercolor works, as they create a delicate dialogue between pigment, water, and the white surface - a space where transparency, light, and intimacy meet, and where the balance between control and surrender brings each scene to life. Since graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1976, I have exhibited widely in Serbia and internationally, participating in many group exhibitions and holding numerous solo shows. Sharing my work on Artfinder, I will reach collectors around the world, giving my paintings new homes and allowing them to continue their silent dialogue, offering moments of reflection, beauty, and connection. For me, art is not just a practice but a necessity...a world without it would be dimmer, less vibrant, and far less human.
