My name is Katrin Roth. I was born in Greifswald at the Baltic Sea. I live and work as a freelance artist in Duisburg at the river Rhine. The focus in my art is on the exploration of nature and landscapes. I work in oil and acrylicpaint on paper and canvas. I have a great passion for the Nordic landscapes. I love to be outside in nature that brings me back to my roots. In the recent years I made working trips to various Nordic countries such as Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Denmark, and the Faroe Islands. I love the paint outside in the open nature Space. Painting outside brings me closer to the nature. In the last years I spend also a lot of time in Denmark for painting outside in the nature.

My works can be found in international private collections in Australia, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Island, Sweden, Kasachstan, Great Britain, Switzerland and USA.
