About Jon Garbet
Biography
Visual artist based in Lyon (France), specialized in collage art and their variants.
Handmade and unique artworks created with original paper cuts from old books, advertisements, photographies and postcards that I've been collecting and archiving for more than a decade.
In my artworks you'll find touches of surrealism, dadaism, pop culture, typography, street art, comics, graffiti, cinema, vintage propaganda, newspapers, photography.. among other things I love.
I've been exhibited in Spain, Luxembourg and had a solo show on Gap (France) in 2016. I work as full time illustrator and I regularly do art commissions.
