  • My name is Natalia (Delnara is my creative pseudonym). I'm from Ukraine. I'm a full-time artist, my passion is painting and travel. For seven years I traveled to different countries of Europe and Asia continuously, lived and painted for a long time in different cities. During this time, I have created over 2400 works in 38 travelbooks, as well as many paintings that are in private collections in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Nepal, Oman, Australia, and other countries. For the last 3 years (starting from March 2020), I have been living in Turkey. I am inspired by nature and tropical themes. I have lived for several years in different countries of Southeast Asia and now tropical themes are a part of me. Bright colors, sun, picturesque plants - what I like to paint and what I think looks harmonious in the interior.

Right now I’m reevaluating my artistic practices and all those experiences and impressions I got while travelling. I’m working on a new series, using the polysemy of the concept of “migration”, while trying to find new facets of the multicultural and multiethnic society.

I use a dynamic worldview, rejection of a settled way of life and migration as tools to re-actualise my “mental map”, as a way to see more clearly and get rid of automatic perception. Being a nomad used as a cognitive tool in the artistic field allows space for miracles and manifestations of life itself.

  • : Invisible gardens

    : 10 Oct 2024 - 27 Oct 2024

: Taras Shevchenko Museum, Kyiv, Ukraine

This project delves into profound themes of resilience and renewal, focusing on two key aspects: the vulnerability of Ukraine’s endangered plants, affected by the war, and the inner strength symbolized by "invisible gardens" that reside within each of us. These gardens are spaces of balance and safety, where anxious thoughts gradually transform into calm reflection. A garden is a point of "grounding," where one can return to oneself, to nature, and to what provides us support. In today’s world, especially in Ukraine, it is particularly important to find this personal space of peace and comfort.
The exhibition is divided into six thematic sections: "Invisible", "Invented", "Internal", "Timeless", "Endangered", and "Gardens". Each section reveals different aspects of harmony between humans and nature, highlighting the garden as a place of restoration, refuge, and equilibrium. Here, one can experience a sense of calm, as if closing your eyes and imagining the rustle of leaves, the scent

    : Timeless

    : 10 Oct 2024 - 27 Oct 2024

The exhibition "Timeless" traces the eternal cycle of nature, where the leather element - from the growths to the anti-tank hedgehogs that became part of the landscape of the war - symbolizes the constant struggle between ruins and renewals. The central theme of the exhibition is the revival of the hour as an innocent flow, where nature, in the face of ruin, will again find strength for revival.
