Original artwork description
Religions side by side, united in a single book—yet behind their symbols lie very different stories. For me, this work is about tolerance and how we respond to what other people believe. Faith can offer love, hope and guidance. At the same time, religious institutions have caused not only good but also suffering and exclusion throughout history. Both belong to the story. Perhaps tolerance begins when we respect the beliefs of others without giving up critical thought. What matters is not only what we believe, but how we treat one another.
