This oil painting was inspired by a walk in late autumn winter. I love this time of year of intense dark colours and sculptural branches. This is a textured oil, which like the hedges and tree in the morning sun, comes alive when the light hits its edges.

Oil paint and stretched canvas. Painted using pallet knife, brush, hands and walnut oil
