What Remains Beneath (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Lyndsay Tarren-Leister
76 x 61 x 2cm (unframed)
£895
Original artwork description
What Remains Beneath explores the beauty of surfaces shaped by time. Soft layers of blush, stone and muted blue-grey are built up, obscured and revealed, allowing traces of earlier marks to remain visible beneath the surface.
Inspired by weathered walls, faded architecture and the quiet evidence of what has gone before, the painting balances areas of stillness with fragmented marks and softened drips.
Rather than depicting a particular place, it holds the feeling of something remembered — imperfect, layered and only partly revealed.
Measurements are 61x76cm unframed.
Please note this is a one of a kind artwork & the colours may vary from what you see on your screen.
