We are together (2026) Original Oil Painting by Olena Romanenko

The painting captures the atmosphere of a beautiful summer day, filled with love, tenderness, and a sense of freedom. A couple in love stands on the shore, gazing out at the calm sea and the distant horizon. The young woman, wearing a vibrant red dress, seems to dance in the gentle breeze, while the young man holds her tenderly by the waist.
Sunlight glimmers across the vast, azure sea, and a crimson sailboat is reflected in the clear water, creating a striking splash of color. The loose, textured brushwork lends the canvas a distinct dynamism and vital energy.
The contrast between the rich red hue and the various shades of turquoise and blue evokes a sense of celebration, passion, and romantic dreams.
At its core, this painting is a hymn to love, to the beauty of a fleeting moment, and to the joy of being together.
This painting was begun the day before the war in Ukraine broke out. It waited nearly five years to be completed. The war is not over, yet this scene bursts into life!
