Wastwater View Original Oil Painting by oconnart

An English landscape painting of the Wastwater in the Lake district of England. painted in an impressionist style with a subdued autumnal palette of green, ochre and blue.
In this artwork I have tried to convey the moody atmosphere of this wild area of the British Isles, with its changeable weather of misty wet clouds, passing swiftly over the hillsides and moorlands beside the tranquil water of the lake.

Painted with a palette knife using quality artists paints on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white square profile wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.
