Original artwork description:

A long painting of a group of birds walking. In front is the smallest; the sparrow. Followed by a bittern, and then a heron. At the back is a pigeon - with a speech bubble - saying 'wankers'.

It's a humorous work. Birds going for a walk is funny. I made sure I painted them in a real way, not cartoonish at all.

I also made the background colour quite sombre - as a juxtaposition to the speech bubble.

I made this painting simply because it made me laugh. At the beginning it was never going to have a speech bubble, but I kept playing around with speech bubbles, and this was the most inoffensive, offensive word I could come up with.

Materials used:

acrylics
