I paint what the eye doesn't see but the heart already knows. This one's the beach in full summer - heat that burns and softens at once.
Having just entered a poster competition tied to a local event -that is known worldwide, I found myself thinking local, closer to home than usual. Four figures cross the sand, and none of them arrived carrying nothing. Colors do most of the talking here. Somewhere in the yellow, a circle, barely there - sky and earth, connected. proof enough that we're not alone, that we're old lives, folded into new ones.
