A whole surface of golden waffles, stacked and overlapping, with dark syrup pooling and dripping between them. This large painting is a feast for the eyes, an unapologetic celebration of indulgence.

The work is built around pattern and rhythm, the crisp geometric grid of each waffle set against the glossy, meandering rivers of syrup that flow through the gaps. The warm golden-browns of the batter glow against the deep, almost black pools of syrup, while bright highlights catch on every wet, sticky surface.
