Voile (Single Panel) — Neutral Abstract (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

50 x 150 x 3cm (unframed)

£2,245.75

Voile is what remains when everything loud has fallen away. A veil of stone and light, suspended — a single vertical fall, quiet and self-contained.
This is one panel from the Voile diptych, measuring 150 × 50 cm. It stands fully on its own as an independent work, and may also be paired with its companion panel to form the complete diptych composition of 150 × 100 cm.
Built by hand in many layers of acrylic and lacquer on canvas, Voile develops a deep, tactile relief. The surface moves downward like slow water: pearl and ivory drift into oxidised silver, metallic shimmer and soft bronze, gathering into pale pools at the base. Pearlescent, metallic and textured paints are layered into the canvas itself — not applied as decoration on top, but built into the body of the work. The matte finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, so the painting shifts quietly across the day, from cool morning tones to warm evening depth.
Part of the Silence Before Form series, Voile is conceived for interiors with calm architecture and natural materials — stone, plaster, neutral palettes, contemporary minimalist spaces.
Hand-signed on the front, with a branded brass plaque on the side edge and a Certificate of Authenticity included. Original one-of-a-kind work — no prints, no reproductions.
Not decoration. Presence.
