Original artwork description
The title of this work comes from the name of a magazine that was published during the Spanish Civil War. The word visions taken out of this context gains in nuances and objectives. We have a schematic Puerta de Alcalá, one of the emblems of the city of Madrid, from which some of the flowers that usually adorn its flowerbed have escaped. Before the attentive gaze of a beautiful woman, singer and dancer, this spatial portrait of an instant occurs in which at the same time children laugh and have fun in the background, which is also the protagonist. A mixture of textures, techniques and sensations that are what we receive when having a vision as special as that of the Puerta de Alcalá.
