What if, one day, looking out of the window of your home on the sun-drenched coast of Sicily, you were to see something truly extraordinary? Above charming Italian houses, ancient bridges, azure waters, and flowering gardens, a golden vision appears: two lovers embracing tenderly. Their figures seem to have stepped out of Gustav Klimt’s famous painting The Kiss: a man leans towards the woman he loves, while she, with her eyes closed, surrenders completely to a moment of intimacy and tenderness. It is as though a fragment of a great masterpiece has come to life and appeared above a small Sicilian town, transforming an ordinary landscape into a world of dreams.
Mirror elements play a special role in the composition. They imitate a window frame, creating the impression of a real window through which the viewer looks out onto this extraordinary world.
