Vibrations in Blue (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

Original artwork description
"Vibrations in Blue" is a large abstract painting built from repeated horizontal bands of blue, turquoise, deep navy, light blue and black. The structured rhythm of the composition creates a sense of movement across the canvas, while the hand-painted lines keep the surface expressive and alive.
The painting has a calming but energetic presence, with layers of blue shifting between depth and light. From a distance, the work feels almost like sound waves, water, or a visual frequency; up close, the brushwork, small variations, and layered marks reveal the human touch behind the repeated pattern.
Painted intuitively, the work balances structure with irregularity. The repeated marks create a sense of order, while the slight shifts in tone, spacing, and brushstroke width keep the painting feeling alive.
For me, this piece is about finding calm through repetition and allowing small changes to build into something larger. It feels reflective, meditative, and slightly nostalgic, like looking back at scattered moments and realizing they belong together.
The painting can be displayed either horizontally or vertically, giving it a very different energy depending on the space.
Medium: Acrylic paint on gallery grade canvas.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
