Vessel is a geometric oil painting exploring the sacred connection between a mother and child — rendered through the visual language of fractal geometry and the symbolism of the Golden Spiral.

At the heart of the composition lies the Golden Heart fractal — the intersection of two Golden Spirals — a mathematical form that mirrors the way life reproduces and continues itself. Just as fractals repeat their pattern at every scale, a woman holds her child close to her heart and becomes the space through which life carries forward.

The human figure has long been associated with the star: a form that endlessly regenerates. This painting makes that connection visible. Birth here is not only a biological event — it is a fractal continuation of life, shaped by its most fundamental force: love.

Exhibited at the 15th Florence Biennale, Italy, 2025.
Featured in Aatonau contemporary art review, 2025.

This work is part of the Inner Space series — two oil paintings exploring the female figure as interior space rather than subject: a container for invisible processes, inner states, and the forces that move through us. The companion work Self-Talk is available on my Artfinder profile.

Certificate of authenticity included.
