Original artwork description
"Verde Lago" brings Antonino Puliafico’s gestural approach to water, reflections and changing light into an original oil painting on canvas. Measuring 90 × 80 cm and dated 2023, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
Material presence is essential: palette knife gives the work a layered surface in which gesture and colour remain clearly visible. A green palette contributes to the work’s chromatic rhythm.
