Description
Green Burst is an energetic contemporary painting in which vegetation, flowers, and color seem to erupt directly from the surface of the canvas.

Painted entirely with a palette knife, the composition is constructed through vigorous layers of oil impasto. Deep greens create a dense natural background, while intense reds, cobalt blues, whites, violets, and flashes of yellow burst forward in sweeping gestures. Flowers and leaves remain recognizable, yet their forms are progressively transformed into rhythm, movement, and pure chromatic energy.

Rather than presenting a traditional floral composition, Green Burst explores nature as a living force. Long directional strokes rise through the painting like stems caught in motion, while the central accumulation of color creates an almost explosive focal point. The contrast between the darker surrounding greens and the luminous heart of the composition gives the artwork remarkable depth and visual intensity.

The work belongs to a language of gestural expressionism and contemporary textured painting, where the palette knife becomes both drawing instrument and sculptural tool. From a distance, the painting reveals a powerful floral presence; up close, every layer exposes the physical gesture of its creation.

Green Burst is conceived for collectors who appreciate expressive contemporary painting, rich impasto surfaces, bold color relationships, and artworks with a strong physical presence.
