Vase Composition X’26 is an exploration of stillness through proportion, material, and form. Three simplified vessels are arranged in quiet conversation, creating a composition that balances monumentality with restraint.

Entirely hand embroidered on line using punch needle techniques, the work transforms thread into an architectural language. Dense directional stitching constructs a geometric environment in which the vessels appear to emerge gently from the textile surface. Rather than describing objects in detail, the composition reduces them to essential silhouettes, allowing proportion, rhythm, and negative space to become the primary means of expression.

The overlapping forms establish a subtle dialogue between foreground and background, while the interplay of vertical volumes introduces a sense of calm equilibrium. A restrained palette of ivory, warm stone grey, and deep brown enhances the tactile qualities of the embroidery, allowing light to reveal the sculptural relief created by thousands of individual stitches.
