A quiet textile still life where form, texture, and structure emerge through hand-embroidered relief.
Vase Composition VII’26 continues an exploration of still life through reduction, structure, and quiet material presence.
Hand-embroidered on linen using punch needle techniques, the composition centers on a single vessel—its form outlined with a restrained, gestural line that hovers between precision and softness. The object emerges gently from a constructed environment of geometric planes, where dense, directional stitching builds a subtle architectural space.
The surface is defined by its tactile depth. Layers of carefully placed stitches create a low-relief structure that shifts with light, transforming the flat textile into a sculptural field.
