Vase Composition IX’26 (2026) Original Relief by Milena Paladino
77 x 64 x 3cm (framed)
£2,503.86
Original artwork description
Vase Composition IX'26 belongs to Milena Paladino's ongoing exploration of still life through textile language. Drawing inspiration from the contemplative traditions of modernist painting and contemporary ceramic design, the artist transforms ordinary vessel forms into quiet meditations on balance, presence and space.
The composition exists in a suspended state between object and memory. Familiar shapes are reduced to their essential outlines while dense fields of stitching construct an architectural environment that appears simultaneously solid and immaterial. Through the repetitive gesture of hand embroidery, surface becomes landscape and thread becomes a medium of drawing.
Rather than describing objects, the work evokes a state of attention. The restrained palette, rhythmic textures and carefully calibrated geometry invite slow looking, rewarding proximity with subtle shifts of light and shadow.
In an age saturated with visual noise, Vase Composition IX'26 proposes an alternative experience—one rooted in silence, tactility and contemplation. It is an artwork that does not seek to dominate a room, but to transform its atmosphere.
Created for collectors who appreciate refined minimalism, contemporary craftsmanship and timeless interiors, this piece integrates beautifully into Japandi, Wabi-Sabi, Scandinavian and modern spaces.
