This painting unfolds as a quiet, almost ritualistic scene. A dark-clad figure stands beside a dog in an overgrown landscape, while another human body appears suspended above the ground, surrounded by birds.

There is a ringing stillness to the moment, as if time has briefly stopped and the landscape itself is holding its breath. Nothing in the scene is overtly dramatic, yet the levitating body transforms the familiar into something charged, mysterious and difficult to explain.

The work moves within the territory of magical realism, where the impossible enters ordinary reality without breaking it. The scene remains calm, almost ceremonial, allowing uncertainty, ritual and silence to coexist.

Materials used:

vinyl emulsion and acrylic on linen canvas
